stretches at home

These videos are designed to guide you at home through some of the techniques that I offer my clients. If I have not given you a treatment or recommended that you try any of these at home please only attempt them if you feel comfortable and confident. Remember whenever you are moving and stretching - be mindful. That means, go slowly, go with playful curiousity, listen to your body’s responses and start small. Your breath will deepen the stretch so, use it. Breathe deeply into the places that you feel the most resistance.

Chest Opening:

Please be mindful with this stretch because for some people it will not be possible to straighten the arm if you’re very tense and not used to this. For beginners: concentrate on keeping your shoulder plugged into the socket and concentrate on spreading your fingers on the wall and flattening your palm down - it may be that you need to keep a micro bend in the elbow and as you practise this daily that length with start to come throughout the arm.
